Sully’s Birthday

I just look at sweet Sully and my heart burst with love no matter what mood I’m in. I’m so thankful to have him. Sully turned the big One June 23rd and he has taken off with his walking skills!

Hard to believe we just celebrated Sully’s 2nd birthday. I found this post in my drafts and just started reflecting on the past couple years.

Sully had a great day celebrating with Bluey!

Sully loves anything outdoors, riding the buggy, mower, golf, baseball, cooking, Bluey, and his dog Steele which happens to be a Blue Heeler haha . He is all or nothing and so bright and helpful. I love him with all my heart.

Sully is 3!

He loves all things construction themed. This year he had his party at the gym and it was construction themed. It was a last minute decision to hold it in the gym due to the rain, but it all worked out great! Sully’s vocab is really blossoming and I really enjoy talking with him.

Sully very excited to open his new backhoe!

This year he asked for a corn pit ! Sully loves to help his dad feed the deer and play in corn!

Corn pits have become more popular in the last couple years at fall festivals.

Homemade Pierogis

I’ve been craving homemade pierogis so I made them yesterday on my day off. They were time consuming, but worth it because they were very delicious! These ones are stuffed with broccoli cheddar filling. I served them over a bed of sautéed onions, peppers, and kielbasa.

Had anyone tried different types? What do you stuff them with or what’s your favorite kind?

Dog Sleeping

Does anyone else think it’s so adorable when their dog sleeps? Steele has many different position he sleeps, but usually it’s on myself or my husband. If he’s not on us he’s always somewhere close! Enjoy some cute photos of Steele sleeping.

Spaghetti Squash

Tonight I made shrimp scampi spaghetti squash for dinner. It was amazing and I would try it again. Oddly enough it taste very much like pasta. I would make it again! If you’ve never tried this before I would highly recommend it! My husband loved it so much he scraped his and mine out ! My dog Steele said it smelled really good too!

Quarantine Deck

My husband has proved himself to be a pretty good carpenter after all. During this quarantine we have had the time to do a couple home improvement projects. The deck is a very nice addition to the back of our house. It will be great to cook out and enjoy the views of the river this summer.

Hiking

Today I went hiking with my boys. This was a short trail, but it was somewhere we’ve never been. I NEEDED a change of scenery! The waterfall was beautiful, and the trail follows a calm stream. This trail is located in Beallsville, Ohio about 45 min from our house.

I read dogs sleep 17 hours a day. So I’ve been taking pictures of my dog Steele sleeping during quarantine. He definitely hasn’t been getting his 17 hours since we have been home!

Safety First Kids… Or Dogs

Steele loves a good car ride ! He’s probably thinking “Now what has she done to me?” Does anyone else worry about their dog in the car? Most the time he sleeps but every now and then I hit my brakes and he’s standing in the seat and flies forward!
