Today I made homemade biscuits for the first time. I’d have to rate them about a 4-10 due to them not rising. I followed the recipe exactly so I’m not sure what happened. If you have any biscuit tips let me know! I’ll try it again.
I love breakfast and I love trying new recipes. Regardless of how flat the biscuits turned out the flavor was still great!

Today my sister and I went walking around Oglebay Park in Wheeling, WV. We figured while it was nice out we would go take some pictures.
Last night when I was trying to plan something fun, and I ran into an article that said there was a waterfall that not many people are aware of. So I set out to find it today. It was actually really easy to find !
Oglebay has some of the prettiest views in thankful the sun came out for a little bit today to see them! 
Every year Oglebay has the prettiest tulips that stretch along all the sidewalks. It’s great to see them in bloom.

There’s a little diner across the bridge in Ohio called Marvs Diner. They have the best mini sliders.
Since everything has been closed due to quarantine I tried to recreate my own tonight. The will hold me over till I can get back to Marvs!

Today I went hiking with my boys. This was a short trail, but it was somewhere we’ve never been. I NEEDED a change of scenery! The waterfall was beautiful, and the trail follows a calm stream. This trail is located in Beallsville, Ohio about 45 min from our house.

I made these nachos for the 3rd day of the virtual NFL draft. I love nachos, but I hate when I order them out and they don’t layer the chips with the toppings! I layer them so every chip has toppings. No chip left without! How do you nacho? Go Jags!
Tonight we were wanting wings to watch the draft. Every local place closed early, and we were determined to get wings. We ended up driving 30 minutes out of the way to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to pick up wings to go. We lucked out because the boneless wings were all but one get one!
My husband loves football. I like to listening to their stories. I just wanted to document this moment in history. We will probably never see a virtual NFL draft again. (4/23/20)

I read dogs sleep 17 hours a day. So I’ve been taking pictures of my dog Steele sleeping during quarantine. He definitely hasn’t been getting his 17 hours since we have been home!
On days I miss Korea I make these noodles.
In South Korea they make all kinds of soups with them. Ramen is usually seen as poor mans food or college kids food here in America. They have made it all sorts of ways in Korea. Some have dumplings, cheese, eggs, pork. You can really spice it up to make it a filling meal. Plus it’s inexpensive. These noodles are more expensive here, but to fill cravings they hit the spot.
I get this type of Ramen at Kroger’s, but I’m sure there are different places to buy them. They are a great comfort food!
